Welcome to Aztec Specialty Produce Co.

 

Our company was founded in 1986 by our current owner and President Gary Fraizer. Aztec started as small herb company dealing with many local produce companies. In 1990 after many requests Gary decided to go directly to the local restaurant trade to further the company and its growth. Immediately Aztec had requests from local chefs to not only do herbs but to provide the highest quality produce and specialty produce as well. This became our signature as a company and the response was tremendous. Chefs like Michael De Maria from Michaels and Michaels Catering, Chef Beau at Sanctuary, Brad Thompson the James Beard recipient at Phoenician resort, Chef Wade Moises at Sassi, Paul Carter the Executive Chef at Phoenician, Kurt Zuger Executive Chef at Wigwam Resort, Anton Brunbauer at Barcelona and many others can attest to the quality and service that Aztec provides. For the past 15 years all restaurants and chefs have come by word of mouth and from our reputation on the street. Gary never wanted to become the biggest company in town, just the very best of quality and service. In efforts to keep up with our growth and the expanding markets Gary’s son Brandon Fraizer joined Aztec as their sales manager.
